Princeton Tec was established by Bill Stephens in 1975 in New Jersey, USA. It all started with the introduction of the first automatic dive timer, called Bottom Timer. In 1980, the company changed course and started producing its first waterproof flashlight. The first headlamp came in 1996, and it deeply transformed the company’s business model. Now, its products could reach new groups of customers going from rock climbers, campers, sled mushers, utility workers to global peacekeepers.
It was back in 2010 that the company introduced Point MPLS as its first product designed specifically for tactical users. The main objective of the company has always been to develop compact light systems that can perform in even the most demanding environments.
